Tulipa gesneriana

Tulipa gesneriana, commonly known as garden tulip, features vibrant spring blooms in various colors like red, yellow, pink, and white. It is unscented, not air-purifying, and inedible. Easy to care for, it suits beginners but requires a cold period to bloom, making it better for temperate climates. Ideal for balconies, sunny windowsills, or garden beds; not recommended for bedrooms due to potential pollen sensitivity. Growth is moderate—blooms appear in spring after fall planting. Toxic to pets and humans if ingested; keep out of reach of children and animals.
